Citewake

The Citewake Foundation

Is your charity named when donors ask AI?

The Citewake Foundation checks it for free, for verified charities.

How it works

Are you named?

We ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity the real questions donors ask about your cause and your city or region. In each answer, we record what happened to you.

  1. NamedThe AI mentions you.
  2. RecommendedThe AI tells the donor to give to you.
  3. Someone elseThe AI names other charities, and not you.

If not, why not?

When an AI picks a charity, it leans on what it can find and check:

  • Official charity register listings
  • Independent evaluators
  • Local press
  • Clear impact and donate pages
  • One name, used the same way everywhere

A smaller charity is usually missing from most of these. It has its own website, but few independent write-ups, no evaluator profile, and a name that differs between its site and the register.
