Privacy

What we keep

• The website address you check. We keep it even if you don't leave an email, because each lookup tells us which categories people want indexed.
• Your email address, if you give it. We use it once: to tell you when that website's category has numbers.
• When you submitted it, the country your connection came from, and your browser's user agent (the name and version it sends with every request). The country comes from our host's network, not from your device.

Spam protection

To limit repeated submissions, we keep a one-way hash of your IP address for one hour, then it is deleted. We don't use a third-party captcha.

What we don't do

• No cookies and no advertising trackers.
• No fonts loaded from other companies. Fonts and scripts are served from citewake.com.
• We don't sell or share what you give us.

Your theme choice (light or dark) is saved in your own browser and never sent to us.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver it and stores what you submit. We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify or track you across sites.

Removing your details

The one email we send includes a link to remove your details. Until then, your email is used for nothing else.
